Dear House in the Hills
Only there could I find
Dream-like contentment
And deep peace of mind.
The garden so fragrant
The grass smooth and green
I’ll cherish forever
The thoughts of that scene.
Lonely the pathways
That now I must roam
The House in the Hills
Is a fond dream of Home
Say shall I find it
When earth’s journey’s done
Smiling a Welcome
And bathed in the sun.
