The Rape of Innocence
From Bohemian Bouquet, published 1980 by The Bohemians.

The Rape of Innocence
In innocent beauty,
Vast fields of rape lie
Gleaming golden
Under a Sussex sky.
Innocence?
And yet in Spain
Children die,
In slow agonies,
Wasting away
Until their last good-bye.
Innocence?
The rape of innocence?
Their mothers don’t know why –
Only those guilty, greedy men
Who mixed the rape seed oil
With a lethal dye
To turn a quick peseta,
THEY know why.
